This is an official notice from Shenzhen Shanren Technology Co.,Ltd.
On August 31st, we experienced a data security incident. An unauthorized third party deleted Shanren Sport App’s database, and obtained a small proportion of email addresses. As a result, once you’ve logged out of your Shanren account, you won’t be able to log back in. Unfortunately, the data you have uploaded to the app has also been unlawfully deleted.
Currently, thanks to the work of our security team, the threat has been contained and we believe that there has been no financial loss to any customers as a result of the incident.
What should you do now?
1. Please re-register your account in Shanren Sport App.
2. Please pay more attention to email security. Don't open phishing emails that ask for your date of birth, password information, phone number, credit card details, home address, etc. Don't open attachments without scanning them first.
Following a diligent review, we believe that notifying the Shanren community of the incident and issuing a warning against future threats is the right thing to do. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, and if you have any further questions, feel free to contact us. We have taken all the possible measures to not let anything like this happen again.
